Jagger on SNL – My Predictions

Mick Jagger will serve as host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live on May 19th. Given the fact that he has no recent solo material to promote, I see only three possibilities as to the musical content of his appearance:

1) The Rolling Stones make a surprise appearance to announce their 50th anniversary tour and run through a perfunctory rendition of “Miss You.”

2) Instead of playing a song, Mick brings Ronnie Wood on stage and they make out for five minutes, both to protest North Carolina’s passage of Amendment One and to evoke their 1978 display of affection on SNL.

3) Mick performs “Moves Like Jagger” with Maroon 5; plague of locusts descends on earth; rapture occurs.

Number 3 is probably the most likely one.
